RAMA creates art pieces that exist at the intersection of light, object, and space.

Founded by Phillip Noel, RAMA grew out of a fascination with raw materials, shape, form, and the way light can change the feeling of a room.

At the heart of RAMA is a belief inherited from an idea first explored in 1975: a multifunctional lamp developed by Phillip’s father, Sean, designed to adapt to different needs, spaces, and ways of living.

That original thought still defines RAMA today: one object can hold more than one purpose, and light can be both functional and expressive.

RAMA does not treat light as decoration, but as an art piece with presence. Some pieces are made to be displayed, collected, and talked about. Others are made to be lived with — carrying the same artistic sensibility into homes, interiors, and professional spaces.

Created in Denmark, RAMA is defined by material quality, careful craftsmanship, and a belief that function should never be without presence. On the contrary.

Light should not just fill a room.
It should create presence.
